Dr. Cranky Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Well, the snake traveled up to Pittsburgh last week for some special decal treatment, and then my buddy Donn Yost returned it and now it's finished. Hope you like it as much as I do. And, Donn, thanks for the great graphics. I still have to paint the turn signals up front and the wheels on the bars out back.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Here's a little video if you want to see it spinning! LOL!
'08SEAL Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Nice work! NOw you need to take one of those kits and make it a factory stock Cobra.
Kustom Rodder Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Wow Doc that looks fantastic great job the oldman did a great job on the decals.Doc you have one very nice cobra lineup so far now you gotta get a red one added in their. I tell ya I really enjoy watching what you can do with the shiny side your doing fantastic work keep it going.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Yes sir, a red one would be very nice. I just ordered a few more colors . . . and I have to kits waiting to be built. So many projects in the works, EYEGORE is getting dizzy. LOL.
cobraman Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 That's 3 beautiful Cobras right there. My favorite car to be sure. I may just have to build a gasser type for myself.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 Thanks, Ray. Well, with a name like yours you better believe you gotta build more Cobras!
Dr. Cranky Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 You mean the real thing. I'm sure Donn can chime in terms of the source for these decals. We both wanted something that had light blue on the edges . . . a Mustang like this would look very cool indeed.
Sixx Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Those are AWESOME Doc!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful paint!!!!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 Wow, that's one fast Mustang. Great vid, thanks for sharing it. Thanks, Derrick.
Harry P. Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Geez, Cranky! What's with all this shiny paint lately? Have you been kidnapped by Crazy Jim???
LoneWolf15 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Geez, Cranky! What's with all this shiny paint lately? Have you been kidnapped by Crazy Jim??? I ruint him , Harry , I tell ya , I ruint him ! Lmao! On that note , I told you 2 years ago that I was going to take over , one victim at a time ! Lol ! The Hurricane decals are from one of the Slixx quarter panel sheets , seemed appropriate due to it's home in Florida . I needed to find something to color coordinate with the blue ! Sorry ! Feminine side shining through ! Lol !
Wayne's World Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Dang, I wish I could afford to pay somebody to put my decals on. Of course, where I come from, we jus' do it ourselves. I come from Florida. Cranky, you gots to move somewhere else!!! No offense...

Dr. Cranky Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 No offense taken, Wayne. Donn just offered out of friendship, and although I can decal my own vehicles, I knew he would put some cool stuff on there and so out of friendship we agreed and the magic happened. Now I have a build that will forever be ultra special in my collection.
cobraman Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Thanks, Ray. Well, with a name like yours you better believe you gotta build more Cobras! Well, I have over 600 Cobras now and room is getting tight. They are not all plastic models some are diecast or resin as well as ceramic and crystal and even crayons. Ya, I love them Cobras. I would like to see what you could do with a Daytona Cobra kit.
1zebra3 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 A tip of the hat to you Doc. Those cobras are mean.
