Sam; Thanks.... FINALLY figured out that bending just doesn't work....Lots of little "fishmoutn" cuts; then zapped back together to get the bend....took a couple tries; but I got it figured out....pretty happy with the result...just need to get some paint on the pipes ....I'll be glad to get this one done.........Matt

Yeah, I like it like that. And I like to see more pics of the beauty. How did you made the air cleaner for the carbs? Which material did you use for them?

Nice color !

I still have a wrecked CB 750 that´s waiting to turned in something like the "Wrenchmonkeys" built in real.

I hope to see more of this bike soon ;)

Ulrich; Thanks! The Tank/seat-tail, and air cleaners are my own resin castings, as are the flanges for the exhaust. The frame is the tamiya frame; but has been modified heavily to eliminate all of the mounting holes and pads for all the stock kit parts. The new oil tank is made from evergreen stock, as is the exhaust, clip-ons, and re-location tray under seat for all the electrics....this bike would be "kick-only", so there are less widgets uber there...along with a smaller battery.....Oil cooler is P/E and copper....braided lines are detail master...You can see more pix on my site www.monkeyclawmodels.com Thanks for looking guys..............Matt

It´s a real beauty. The more I look at it, the more detail I found that is made from scratch. Great job on this bike.

Thanks to all for the comments & kind words! It was nice to get this one done; I mastered the parts last year; and never got the chance to have the prototype build up done. Doing the build allowed me the opportunity to figure out the rest of the widgets for the resin conversion; like the clip-ons and rearsets, and I will be adding the clip-ons to the set for sure; and perhaps the same type of headlamp molded woth a single instrument...trying to keep the resin sets simple; so that any modeler of average skill can use the resin parts as direct fit replacements on the kits.....Now.... On to version TWO cafe tank and seat combo!!!
