Built box stock.

Went together fairly well...it takes a bit to get the body and the chassis to line up just right (at least mine was).

Fun kit to build....just wanted to do a "fun" build

Interior is Tamiya Semi Gloss Black (X-18) and kit supplied decals

Exterior is DuPont Chromabase (its some left over red I had mixed for me a few years ago) over Dupicolor white sandable primer with Nason SelectClear 2 part

I still have to poilish out the body and do final assembly.

I sprayed the kit supplied wheels with dullcoat. A few days later, i took my fingernail and carfully scraped the dull coat off of the chrome so it has a chrome "stripe" on the spokes.

Thanks for looking

I LOVE the trick on the wheels! Very creative. How well did the engine go together? I have this engine for use in an old pro-touring project but haven't built it yet.....I'm thinking the chrome "stripe" might look good continuing around the perimeter of the rim? Just a thought.

thanks for the comments, fellas.

hopefully I will have this thing complete today or tomorrow.

Bart - I will remember the idea of doing the lip on the next set...I don't want to mess these up. haha

And the engine goes together rather well. The only issue that I had was the getting the radiator hose to fit between the

radiator and the block.
