  1. Very nice build. Love the stance and choice of wheels.
  2. An easy way to build the 64 and make it a (64 style) full detail is to use the Blue Printer Body with the 63 Galaxie kit. The hood can be cut open on the 64 and the interior can be modified using the 64 and 63 tubs. The chassis is a drop in.
  3. I thought it's a wonderful kit as it is. It does lend itself to alot of possibilities.
  4. Very nice build! What chassis did you use under it, or what chassis was it when you started?
  5. I've read all the coments on this Cuda kit and not one person has said anything about the proportions of the front fenders, From the center body line to the top of the fender, it appears too wide. Like the wheel opening is too short. Over all it looks good, but the fenders look too fat to me. Not that it would stop me from buying this kit. It wouldn't. But if all the talk is about proportions, look again. I realize this is a TEST SHOT, and maybe it will be something they will change, maybe not..... I think Revell will do a great job with this kit, and I know it will sell VERY well. As far as the wait for it to be released, March will be here before you know it. Heck, it's almost Christmas now!
  6. A friend of mine was in Toledo for the toy show and snapped a couple of pics. Any News about these?
  7. Looks great! Nice job and nice color. Keep up the great work.
  8. Here's mine to add to the list.....
  9. I think it looks GREAT! Love the stance, the choice of wheels & tires. Just looks great! Good Luck!
  10. Pro Touring has my vote! But no wire wheels, maybe a solid smooth wheel with the big fat tires........
  11. Does anybody make any of the Spoiler & Flare parts for the 77 - 80 Plymouth Volare kits? Or Dodge ASPEN SUPER COUPE or R/T parts? I know they never did the R/T Aspen kit but conversion parts (grille& Tail lights) would be cool.
  12. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That looks GREAT! What gauge wire did you use for the wiring harness? And you said cars were too difficult to detail.......BS!
  13. Either kits are good. It comes down to if you want simple quick build, go with the AMT versions. They look great built up but don't have all the detail. If you like to detail the heck out of a kit, or have to have an engine in you kit, build the Revell kit. You will like either kit you get. Just buy it to build and have fun doing it!
  14. Beautiful job! I was wondering about the body, is it a resin piece or did you do the roof? Either way I really think it turned out great!
  15. SATURDAY! SATURDAY! SATURDAY! Come one come all, to a great show and swap meet! We are at a new location with more room, so come and enjoy. And again this year, our club members do not enter the contest, we have our own display but not with the regular contest. We would like any member of other clubs who would like to help judge, just ask, we're always looking for help judging. See ya Saturday! For more information: www.cincinnatiautoreplicas.org
  16. Let's also remember GARY NELSON built that Magnum. How legal do you think it really was?????? But I also am a big fan of the Petty's. If you've never been to Level Cross, NC and seen the old shop and museum, GO it is well worth the trip! PS: That Mirada looks great! Keep up the good work!
  17. Very nice work! Love the look and the wheels and I think the motor looks great! Just don't let the "purists" get ya! Build What YOU Want! You are the only one you need to impress! If you build for what others will think, you loose the fun out of this hobby! Been There Done That! I took a few years away from this stuff, and am just now getting back into the swing of things! Nice Camaro! Keep up the good work!
  18. I put on AOL Radio on my computer and listen to Southern Rock. It reminds me of simpler times when I was younger and still building models regularly. Now a lot of the time is planning out the model, setting back looking at which wheels look best, what color combo......listen to the Allman Brothers, Doobie Brothers, 38 Special, Charlie Daniels......look at the model again...... And I get one built every once in a while!
  19. One of the nicest Cragar S/S wheels can be found in the AMT 65 Chevelle Wagon or their El Camino kit. They even have the nice S/S engraving on the center caps. Just remember it's YOUR model, build it the way you want to!
  20. Beautiful job, I think the stance looks great. Nice choice on the motor, look good too!
