Austin T Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Open it up, check to make sure nothing is missing or warped/broken. If it's a kit that is new to me, I'll spend extra time checking out the instructions, body, etc. I always seem to want to set the body/interior/chassis together. Then I'll assign it an inventory number, enter it into the spreadsheet, make some notes as to how I want to build it, put it into the to-build closet. Periodically, I empty the closet but putting kits into 14x14x16 storage boxes (8-10 per box) which go off to the storage unit.. If your unit ever goes up on a storage auction give me a ring.Lol.
Rob McKee Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 If your unit ever goes up on a storage auction give me a ring.Lol. Geeze, I have never seen the storage hunters get a unit full of models.

No...not sure if I'm going to the show, looks like I may have to fly out next Sunday so my time will be limited on Saturday.

camaroman Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 (edited) Somehow, I have managed to keep the shrink on a New Revell 2010 Camaro for over three weeks now ... waiting to buy the next one ... then the shrink comes off of it. This one is in the collection (small) of unopened Camaro kits ... but my fingers are gettin' twitchy to rip it open... . Edited April 17, 2012 by camaroman
southernboy Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I open it, look at it, put it on a shelf. I have 4 kits, waiting on my to get my butt in gear and get a place to build set up.
