This will be my first ever attempt at scratch building , im gonna make the frame and everything else only think I have is the body ,wheels and tires and engine.

Cut out the engine bay and inside wheel wells in the process of cutting the bed.

I like your rims which kit did you get them from, been looking for a set with the 8 holes. I like the truck too, to much short beds. The long boxes need love too

The rims are actually from a jimmie johnson nascar kit.

I really like this build. I used to own a truck like this slammed on 20s with flames all the way back to the middle of the bed but it was also an extended cab. Thing was huge! Can't wait to see what you do with it, what kit is this?

I think i want to make this a shop truck and put this engine in the back and strap it down to the bed i still have to clean up the inside of the bed and build and encloser after i finish the frame

@jason yes the bed was included i think the kit is the older version not the newly released one.

Sweet, I'll have to look into that kit. I like we're your taking the build, shop truck is a great idea. A nice little motor stand with straps with that motor would look killer.

I love it. I've been wanting to build a bagged truck for a while. If your looking for options to make the bags I have a suggestion you could try, the little rubber cushions that hold the laser and motor in place in most portable cd players (most of us have at least one or two broken ones laying around) look just like a double convoluted bag with the top cup bracket already on. keep up the good work

if u still have the front bumper for the truck i have a custom front one from the sm dullie kit and im doing a 4x4 out of it so i would like a big offroad one .use all off nascar kit front end would work great for that slam truck
