I have tried it (still waiting to complete it) I saved some pics of Z'd frames from others, for inspiration. Hope they don't mind.

Try using the boards 'search' feature for frame Z'ing.

Edit: Header to frame clearance looks difficult in these pics. I have also seen the front Z cut just behind the front axle, but in front of the engine, more clearance for exhaust.

Why couldn't I post this to my post? Grrrr!

This link is from another forum but it looks really simple and done clean. I am going to use this tutorial when I z my 32 ford frame. Good luck, hope this helps.
