Mal.au Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Hi Guys Need some help picking my 10 year old son his first glue kit, he has done the snap kits and want to glue some plastic together and probably himself too, I am thinking of a pre decorated kit Any sugestions would be greatly appreciateted
Billy Kingsley Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Mal, I would start him off with one of AMT's classic, wire axle type kits. Simple in construction but looks right when done, it's what I started on and it's still one of, if not the, favorite style kit of mine to work on. If you have Wal-marts down there, don't know, they usually have some prepainted for cheap. Problem is, sometimes the chassis/interior parts are warped because they are wrapped with tape so tightly! Not all though. Good luck to both of you!
MonoPed Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Revell '32 Ford. One of the sweetest building kits out there, fit really well, and looks great right out of the box.
Schumacher330 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Hey dude, the Revell Integra's/Civics are a blast to build. The AMT Eclipse isn't as much.
