Hey George No it didn't come with the clear canopy and it took me more than a couple of goes to get it right, of course I didn't cut it before I painted the boat, the thinnest plastic I could find was the plastic in the top of a donut box, the donuts came from donut king here in OZ which it the same as your Dunkin donuts, I ended up making a masking tape template and then transfering it to the plastic, then used thin strips of doub;e sided tape my wife uses for scrap booking ( Thanks Dear ) Mal

  8. Hi Mike How do you apply the liquid decal film to the printed decals, I brought some testors decal paper last year, but couldn't bring back the aerosol can because apparently airlines are a bit touchy about that sort of thing Mal

Hi Guys Been a while but I finally finished this thing The model comes from Altered states models, I cut the capsule out and made the bottom of it, mcgee quad cammer, paint is black with a plasma storm graphics and decals from patto and my parts box. Drivers name is Simon Stern which I stole from monster garage Hope you enjoy Mal

Hi Guys The 1/16th drag board is a yahoo group and is at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/1_16DrAgGinModelersGroup I will contact my friend in Canada and see if he is still doing stuff, he doesn't have a website but is one of the members of the 1/16th group so is the guy that does the bodies Yes the rear tires are resin from the guy in Canada Mal
  17. Hi Chris The chassis is just one of the revel 1/16th scale funny cars I think it was a charger but I am not sure.. The body came from a guy from the 1/16th scale drag board I am a member of, he does a lot of bodies including the Monza, a 76 mustang and most recently an Arrow Flash point resin does some bodies as well I had to extend the wheel base of the chassis just a touch and lower the rear a lot to get it look right, the wheels/tires come from a guy in Canada he also does Etch metal for 1/16th funny cars and dragsters plus other resin stuff Hope this helps Mal

Hi Guys Well looking at the dates its been two years since I added to this, which is really bad, I can't even say I have been building other stuff because I haven't I have been working on the funny car after a chance meeting with the owner driver of it from the 80's Here you go Regards Mal Last but not least what the real thing looked like
