lordairgtar Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I saw Gary Schmidt today and he had the latest test shot of the 1948 Chevy Coupe kit. Sorry, no pics yet but I'm awaiting some to be emailed to me. The car looked really nice. We should see this new Galaxie Kit sometime late in the year.
Guest Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Sweet! Any word on whether the kit will contain pe or metal transfers?
Austin T Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I really want a galaxie kit but I wish they would do a Ford.....
lordairgtar Posted April 15, 2012 Author Posted April 15, 2012 Sweet! Any word on whether the kit will contain pe or metal transfers? I never asked about that, but you will get the separate woody trim if you wish to do one that way. I'm assuming those PE parts will be in the kit. @Austin, there are several nicely done Fords out there by other makers. Galaxie is a small "garage industry" that will most likely choose subjects not done elsewhere. Gary hopes that this version will make some money to allow new projects. Revell's new 57 Ford should please you.
Deathgoblin Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 The Galaxie kits are really worth the money. They all but snap together. I've got one of the Aerosedans (posted in Under Glass) and it turned out pretty good. I may get another one later once my skills improve some more.
