W-409 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 This Revell's Kenworth kit was bought from Hobby Lobby at Daytona Beach. The year was 2011. I had to buy one American Truck, since I've always thought that they are very cool, and here in Finland, almost every truck is Volvo, Scania or MAN. In Florida I saw many of those American Trucks, so I had to get one on my bench. The kit is pretty simple, but turned out pretty good. Interior was built box stock, with wood on the dash and steering wheel. Otherwise it's painted black and grey. Frame is Gloss Black from spray can and engine is Catepillar yellow, of course. The cab is also painted with spray can, and I used those decals what came with the kit. I enjoyed building this truck very much, and I would recommend this kit for anyone. W-409 Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Thanks Everyone for the kind comments! I'm pretty happy about the end-result too. Trucks are fun to build also, and I hope this build motivates me to get back on '66 Dodge L700 Truck.
