I forgot i had these skulls, so i had to use one.........now we have a cooler hood ornament!

added the intake, and waterpump to the block, installed the distributor and coil.......more wiring tomorrow.

Looks great Bryan. I really like the rusting and the interior. I built one awhile back using the Sophisticated Finishes rusting system and it looks somewhat like yours but more rusty. Keep it up and keep on keepin on my friend. :) Dan

Bryan, I appreciate it but I beat you to it. I was checking out your site all last night. All your tutorials have been really helpful and d*mn creative. I have the same pins I wanted to use as a shifter but never thought of painting it like that. BTW that skull hood ornament is killer!

Awwwww Bryan no Ardun flathead!?!?!?!?.....never the less,I still love this ride and the "skully" is a perfect touch,the only way this build would be better is if it was real!!!.........

nah mike, i couldnt use the ardun flatty, if i would have planned it better, and mocked it all up before i started painting stuff i could have used it, but my planning is usually poor......LOL

i got a little wiring done, made looms for the plug wires, and got one side finished........

made boots for the wires as well......and of course i scratched the valve cover in the process! thats ok tho, it iwll be weathered.

ill finish the plug wires, and start making my pulleys from guitar string ends, and add fuel lines to the carbs going to a fuel block on the firewall..

thanks cranky! im feelin pretty good tonite, i got lidocaine shots in my neck this afternoon (4 of them!)

so my neck is feelin ok for now, and i can actually get something done tonite!

plug wires done! what a pain in the butt they were......its tough to make those wire looms, im out of photoetched ones, so i had to make them! they look a little big to me, but theyre ok i guess.....

Bryan what do you use for that crud/oil crust on the engine? I know AK has an oil wash, what do you do?
