After a long hiatus, work and life got in the way, I have gotten back to the bench. I have decided that I am going to see this one through before I pick up another project. This is the Aoshima Honda Prelude. I have always had a thing for the prelude, eventhough it is a 'girl' car. Paint is Tamiya Racing Blue with just one coat of clear on it so far. It is going to get at least two more coats before the final polishing. I am just happy, cause this paint job turned out great so far. Even with all the rain here in Oklahoma. Wheels are Advans, they came with the kit.

Oh yeah, I do have a few other things on the bench, but they aren't models, so they don't count as 'new' projects.

This is a 1971 Kiev 4A rangefinder. It was a sweet camera, till the shutter curtain ribbons broke. It is now in parts as I await new ribbons or shutters from the motherland. It will be taken completely apart and degreased. The stuff they used originally has hardened beyond use. Everything will then be reassembled and lubed with decent grease. Eventually, it will be a better camera than when it arrived. I also have a Zorki 4 from 1957 that may get the same treatment. I have a roll of film going through it and then we will decide what to do with it.

Okay, let me clarify. Around here, a 'girl' car is one that the driver most often is a girl. Mustangs around here are 'Guy' cars. Minis are 'Guy' cars. Audi TTs are 'girl' cars. The prelude is a girl car. Most of the time the drivers are hot asian chicks. Unfortunately, I do not have any pics to back this up. Trust me though, in Oklahoma City, if you see a Prelude or an Eclipse, most likely there is a hot asian chick driving.

You seen all those cars with the bras on the front?

Why don't they make the thongs for the back?

Just my two sense....
