GMP440
I have been working on a stock body 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 + 2. The problem I am having is duplicating the wheel openings. The shape, is ok but it's the recessed part of the wheel opening that the wheel well trim is mounted that I am having trouble duplicating. I have a couple pics. One is the body I'm working on and the other is a photograph of the real car. See the arrows that show what I am trying to do.

Fat Brian
Depending on how thick the body is aroung the wheel openings your best bet is probably to very carefully sand the lip of the opening at a 45 degree angle to recreate the stock bevel. If it's too thin to get the width you need you could add some sheet styrene around the opening on the inside of the body.
GMP440
Thank you for the suggestion. That's what I have been doing. Just looking for an effective way for this.
Fat Brian
You are probably doing it the best way, it will just take some fiddling to get right.
