sportandmiah
These were at the Cincinnnati show a couple weeks ago, and are by far some of the coolest cars i have ever seen What class of 1:1 racing are these considered? Were these kits one can buy or were they scratchbuilt? I really want to build a couple. Any similar threads here showing these types of cars? 1320wayne
They would appear to be some sort of Sportsman class cars or Outlaw racing maybe. Remember, this is model building and the only limitations is your imagination. It would also appear to be some creative kit bashing and maybe even some slight scratchbuilding of components on some of these builds. Very nice looking builds. Jantrix
Yep someone with a lot of talent scratched / kitbashed / modified their way through those. And yeah, it looks like a 10.5 outlaw class to me.
Modelmartin
The 409 in the 63 Vette is imaginative! They made 409s through late 64 and they made it into a few 65 Impalas so it would have been feasible on a stock one.. The 57 Vette probably wouldn't pass anyone's tech inspection with those hoop rollbars. It must be a pro-street!
Malard
That Mustang is killer!
