signguy2108 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Found this site while looking at 1to1 pics. eddylender.nl Site is in German, but gives pics of what looks like every truck & trailer kit ever made, with production dates. Kind of depressing when I realize how many of them I've had over the years!
Rich_S Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Yes, what a trip down memory lane. http://www.eddylenders.nl/amt-ertl-matchbox.htm
Ben Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 (edited) I found two that are missing. The AMT North American van lines, Big Rig set that came with the Chevy stepside pickup kit where the empty "filler box' would normally be and the AMT Peterbilt 359 California Hauler with Van trailer. The very first "Truck N Trailer" set as it was called before they started calling them "Big Rig sets". I sold these very two sets to a guy that had every single Big Rig set except those two. He gave me 1700.00 for them plus shipping!!!!!!!!! Cost me 75.00 to ship them in the custom made crate that I built for them to make sure they reached him in perect condition. Hessel Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 (edited) The complete list can also be found on our Fotki site. We try to make the information about the kits as complete as possible. Just look into the links of the site: http://dutchmodeltruck.com/ by the way, Eddy Lenders is Dutch, not German.... Hessel DMTC-Holland Edited May 12, 2012 by Hessel
cdnmodman Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Awesome site !!! The number of those kits that I had has a teenager and what ever happened to them all not sure. The Louisville race car hauler is one I wish was back in production as Ebay prices on these are crazy. Really nice to see all the great box art from over the years. Thanks for posting !! Rick
signguy2108 Posted May 12, 2012 Author Posted May 12, 2012 Hessel, thanks for the correction. Meant no harm, I'm from Arkansas, knew I couldn't read it!
Edsel-Dan Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I bought a CD that was listed as German. I told the seller it was Dutch, because it was one I was looking for. I also recognized the site as having a Netherlands/Nederland location. The .nl is Nederland. .de would be Germany I am bookmarkng both sites. I have a few truck kits.
