ewaskew Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 What size doe's your photo need to be so that it will be 2mb? I have mine on photo bucket set at 1024x768 in my albums. Thanks for any help with this.
Foxer Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 There's no direct correlation between file size and resolution. It depends on the photo itself and the amount of compression your editor gives .jpeg files. or any other type of file you use.
sjordan2 Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 What's your application? It doesn't matter if you're posting on threads in this forum, because your image will be reduced (and expandable when you click on it) by the forum software) It's a whole different deal if you wan to post an avatar or a signature.

What I was trying to do was post photos on the Revell Contest form. After all the imfo was in and I clicked Submit,I did'nt get a responce of any kind from them. The page cleared out and that was it. It reads that you will be directed to a thank you page or contacted through e-mail if it went through. Other than that your photos may be to large. I even went through the resize steps and the form again and the same thing happened. I'll call them today and see what they say I guess.
Foxer Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I haven't submitter anything for this, but being Revell AND a photo contest, there HAS to be submittal guidelines posted. Max resolution and file size has to be there somewhere.

However I have not messed with resizing photos before so I had to keep working with it until I got it right.
