martinfan5 Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 One of the cool things about these cars is the freedom to do some eye catching color combos if you are so inclined. Bright or high contrast colored wheels and noses are quite common. Mark, I have noticed that while looking for reference pics, like painting the nose yellow, or the hood in a aluminum , I really am enjoying this kit, but there are so many things you can do with it, its hard to decide, but I have decided that I am going to get me another one though
Scale-Master Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 They are kind of like pototo chips. For the first time in decades, I don't have one as a kit on hand. I do have a comprehensive book on them if you can't find what you are looking for.
MonoPed Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Email Norm for those wheels, I lost the card from the package.
martinfan5 Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 And a little more was done Taillights done Did the trim on the window, not happy with it, but it will do Dash broad, the decals were really bad, I got lucky and the gauge decals were still usable, one of them cracked though Taillights installed and its on its wheels
RancheroSteve Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Email Norm for those wheels, I lost the card from the package. Just got an email back from Norm - he says, "Did you mean Lotus Elan type wheels, like those in the Gunze Sangyo Elan kit? If those are the ones you mean, then I have not done those." So I'm still mystified - maybe they're from another caster?
MonoPed Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 No, they came from Norm. As far as I know, he's only sold two sets, one to me, and one to Gary66 over on Randy's NASCAR Model Forum
