BOSWELL891 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 (edited) Heres my entry for the Gearz contest, I built it almost box stock but with plug wires and other things added in, the paint is Testors Italian red, I built this model so it was like someone bought it brand new in "72 and used it as a well kept daily driver, I am very pleased with this model and love how it turned out. The first two pictures don't look real great, for some reason they look great on the camera but on my computer they don't look as good so I am thinking about reshooting before I enter the contest becuase the color is a lot brighter red that what it looks. All comments and all criticism welcome. Edited May 15, 2012 by BOSWELL891
MyBradKeselowski Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Looks real nice, great build. I like the daily driver look of the engine and undercarriage...
BOSWELL891 Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 Thank you that's the look I was really going for
Harry P. Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 All comments and all criticism welcome. If this is a contest model, you might want to consider a few things: The sun visors are missing, the side marker lights (front and back) and wipers should not be painted body color, you might want to give the up-top and the boot a coat of Dull-cote (they're a little too shiny), and I'm pretty sure the wheelwell surrounds should be chrome.
BOSWELL891 Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 (edited) Thanks Harry I guess I for got a couple of things by mistake Edited May 15, 2012 by BOSWELL891
Harry P. Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Also... the cowl panel and the front latch panel between the fenders should be semigloss black.
