mr moto Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Just curious. Haven't heard anything about that new venture in a while. It must be quite a challenge 1. to start any new model company right now and 2. to re-start the remains of Johan since it seems like there's not a lot of good tooling remaining.
Harry P. Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 So what do those photos mean in regards to Manny's question?
Greg Myers Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 (edited) So what do those photos mean in regards to Manny's question? Wonderful products which may or may not be found in Jo-Hans inventory Edited May 16, 2012 by Greg Myers
Greg Myers Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Ah Ha, we have talked about this before, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49120
Harry P. Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Wonderful products which may or may not be found in Jo-Hans inventory That doesn't answer the question of whether IMC is still going to happen. And as far as what of JoHan's inventory still exists, that's been answered a million times already. Basically nothing still exists. Just ask Okey Spaulding.
Eshaver Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I certainly hope the remains of Jo-han go forth into the Illinois Model company. I'm eagerly awaiting a "Colonade " Generic motas Oldsmobile ................. Ed Shaver
Nick Winter Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Wish Steve. G would chime in, he built those box art models and may know whats going on. Nick
Guest Johnny Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Cool stuff could come out of this if it does happen! We can dream after all!
MyBradKeselowski Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I hope it happens, I really want a few of those 75 Cutlass's...
Casey Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Actually, see Sean Svendsen's reply here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48411&pid=675415&st=80&#entry675415 Sounds like there's a bit of a delay, so a little patience may be required.
Austin T Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I want a Rambler wagon to really bad!I will buy maybe two when they come out.
Eshaver Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 The dissapointment for me concerning the Rambler wagon wasn't really the too shallow interior , it was the THICK Green glass. The rest of the kit was you're average Promotional car . Ed Shaver
Guest Johnny Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I had that kit! It was horrible and wound up in the parts box! Well, pieces of it did!
Eshaver Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Johnny, just as bad was the origional G T -Ford that they came out with in 1965. The door gaps had to have been at least a 1/16th of an inch out ! Ed Shaver
Guest Johnny Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Had that one too Ed and gave it to a kid down the street!
