Casey Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 The reissued AMT '62 T-bird kit has scallops on the decal sheet, but they are lavender in color. Check out this post for scallops done right: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43968&st=0
62rebel Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 patience and tape and very sharp Xacto blades. there's no pre-printed decals that i know of to do that car in that design. there's a member in France that does marvelous panel painting jobs that might help with this.
scale trucker Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 line o tape makes a real sweet 1/32 scale tape that bends so easy..you could just make your own..
Draggon Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 The fellow Curt is referring to is "Zed". Heres his tutorial on panel paintng, scallops can be achieved the same way. http://trakinscale.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hyad&action=display&thread=14273&page=1
