Im working on a55 Chevy truck. I like the small window version better. Does anyone have and ideas on how to covert the big window a small window?

Your only option is to get some styrene sheet, fill the hole, then cut your smaller window opening out.

Then, buy a Hot Wheels car, and take the blister pack off of that for the glass. An excuse to buy a bunch of Hot Wheels :D

Glue the big window from kit into position, Bondo it in, cut the new window, fill with clear acetate.

That's kwhat I was thinking. I'm gonna try that. Thanks

For small spots I use Squadron putty but for larger areas I use Bondo Professional. It comes in a tube and needs to be mixed with hardener. I don't remember if I got it at Wal-Mart or Advanced Auto.

Love the 50 Chevy truck. Its kind of the direction I'm going with the 55 Chevy. Lots of great ideas. This is my first scratch built suspension. Im just getting back into models after 24 years.

Thanks

Here's a few pics of a VW bus I converted to a Kombi .. just for some ideas. I just used sheet plastic and body putty.
