i made linkage, spark plugs, and got a return spring......actually the return spring is a lock cylinder part, as are the brass pieces on the right of the container, they make great oil filler caps, fuel caps...ect.

Bryan where do you get your watch parts from? Local craft stores here (AC Moore etc..) don't carry them not even hobby lobby.

brendan, they are super hard to find. these came from ebay a long time ago but the prices have gone through the roof now. my buddy bought 4 pounds or so, and sent these to me. watchmakers wont even sell them to you `cause they think youre gonna go into the watch repair business or somethin! LOL

try ebay, thats about all i can tell ya.

I hear ya Bryan, It does get expensive and people look at you like you have 5 heads when you ask " Do you sell watch parts?" I don't think they really understand what I am asking for.

It's looking good, but it would be great to see a taller engine on this one in particular if you are going to go hoodless. Looking forward to more progress.

This is what I do over and over and end up going back to the kit supplied engine. Don't you just love it when things work out every once in a while? Better luck tomorrow!

thanks everyone!

im gonna switch gears for a bit, ive had this 37 ford pickup sittin here forever.....last nite i lower the suspension as low as it would go by cutting the center out of the crossmembers that the springs mount on, so without having to "z" the frame, its as low as it can go.... no progress pics yet, but coming soon!

Your girl must of scored some major points when she brought that home for ya. What a cool kit, I really can't wait to see what you do with this one. You going shine or rust? Whatever you pick I'm sure you'll do it justice, I'll be keeping my eye on this one along with the others.

looks like you got a good kit that kit is pretty expensive to buy and you got for free what couldint be better.

yea its a great kit! and 29 bucks is a hefty price tag too! im gonna get back to this one very soon. when i finish up the 37 ford pickup.

cheers
