I have been trying to take pics from my Photobucket album and put them in a post on here but it won't let me? Normally, when you mouse over a pic on Photobucket, a box slides down with the different links to the pic. That's not working. I tried clicking on the pic to enlarge it and then click on the image link that appears in the box to the right of the photo but that doesn't do anything either?

Last night i tried to post some pictures on a model truck forum and it all went normal but then put up a message saying that images were deleted or erased ?

This subject has popped up several times recently. One point: Photobucket has recently reduced the amount of bandwidth (storage space) available for free accounts. Here's a repeat of my post on the current "archiving" thread...

"I don't like to keep a lot of images on Photobucket (especially since they recently reduced the amount of free account bandwidth), and I remove Photobucket files as soon as I think they're obsolete for further posting, or are part of threads that won't pick up again. You can see, among our members, that some have lost their posted images because of overloading Photobucket. (Most heartbreakingly, Simón R.'s beautiful Aston Martin build. Click below to see the damage.)

I would add that these Photobucket deletions occur anywhere and everywhere they've ever been posted online. Simón posted the same Aston images at scaleautomag.com and they're all gone there, too."

I don't know the best answers, but it might be a good idea to contact support at Photobucket for clarification.

Did you click inside the bottom field, IMG code? That should show you a prompt that it's been copied. Then you just paste it into your post. Otherwise you may be over your bandwidth limit.

Note: Zac Milligan posted the following on the archive thread I mentioned above, and you should read the link.

"Shouldn't Simón's photo's return within a month? I just looked it up here- http://support.photo...k-who-s-popular

According to that, he hasn't technically lost his photos, but rather everyone has lost the ability to view them until his bandwidth limit resets."

Rule of thumb: Keep your posted and stored images to a reasonable size so you don't eat up bandwidth.

Never heard about the bandwith situation. I'll try deleting some stored images that I have there and try again. Thanks for the info!

Well, I just deleted four pages worth of pics with no luck. I only have 19 pics total on there now and it still won't allow me to click in the "IMG LINK" that appears to the right of the pics and turns yellow with the word "copied" in it?

Yes and no. You are limited to 500 videos, but for photos it is unlimited on free accounts, and has been that way for at least a few months:

Storage Limits

Photobucket has removed the storage limits for free accounts!

Now you can upload all your photos and up to 500 videos!
