Bigjeepzz
Hey guys this has been a project I have been working on for at least a year and a half. I am now starting to wrap it up and get it finished. I still have quite a bit left but it is starting to take shape. I had to scratchbuild about 80% of the build and the body is a resin piece I bought about 4 years ago. Jake Started with this Ended up with this
hookedonplastics
Hey Jake, What body or kit is that?
Bigjeepzz
The body was casted by AFX Resin. It was originally a funny car body but it was the only one available at the time. Everything else was built or resin cast parts I casted. The shocks are from a kit that I designed Jake

Bigjeepzz
Paint has been accomplished but not without it's problems. Even though I didn't want this Bronco to be refered to the Monster Garage Bronco, it does share some similarities in the way it looks. I wanted to keep the paint looking somewhat vintage with the white top and I could not get over the light blue with the white top combo, so that is what it got. Once again I go back to the MG Bronce again. The paint peeled in one spot and I need some help on how I can go about fixing this. If I have to strip the body I will just weather the model and that area will become part of some rack rash on the model. I would much rather fix it but I hate painting and I don't want to start over again. I added some mesh to the front grille area as well. No hope anymore... last talked to Monica Which is Wendalls Wife she stated that she was shipping it... that was over a month ago and now I can't even get ahold of them... As far as I am Concerned Wendall is no better than a crook... a cheap thief... Your Bronco is VERY SCHWEET!!!!! Dan
Bigjeepzz
I hate that AFX has to treat customers the way they do. I was lucky that I bought mine when I did about 4 years ago. I still had to wait around 8 weeks but I finally got the body. I may try the Bronco in resin myself. There is a 1/24 plastic toy which can make a very nise resin body if casted. In fact I would not be surprised if this started out from that plastic toy. Thanks for the compliments. Jake

Jake It is my understanding that this bronco was originally cast by a company called Chezzcast or something like that... and Wendall Bootlegged off of it... It is also my understanding that you are correct that this started as a toy that was really a nice piece... Dan
