tom18b Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Is the revell w900 a snaptite kit? http://www.revell.com/model-kits/trucks/85-1507.html thanks
Fat Brian Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Yes, that Revell kit is the snap version. This version, with the flat top sleeper, is the full detail kit http://www.amazon.com/Kenworth-W900-Tractor-Revell-Germany/dp/B001TLV62U/ref=pd_sbs_t_7
lapazleo Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Correct it used to be a Monogram kit. It still has loads of potential for a snap tite kit. The 3406 Cat engine is very good and can be put in a lot of other trucks.
signguy2108 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Don't let the name snap kit fool you! They can be made into nice models.
ARTEMIS1759 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Yeah I hate snap kits but this one is greatly detailed for a snap. Its about half way between a snap and full detail.
signguy2108 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 hey tj, the good thing about a snapkit, if you mess it up and have to throw it in the parts box, you won't have to tell your loan officer at the bank that you had to scrap it!
