Want to blow the judge's minds at your next contest?

Check out the latest Auto ID Quiz (#56). There are a few photos on page 2 of a car that is rarely seen these days, but would make a really cool model, IMO.

William Stout was an aeronautics engineer who was the man behind the Ford Tri-motor airplane. The Scarab was his vision of the ultimate use of space in an automobile. I don't know much about the mechanicals, but I do know it had a rear mounted Ford V8. Only six examples were produced.

That wouldn't blow their minds. That would make them have to swallow back vomit to keep from spewing all over the other entries. However,I could see Moebius coming out with a kit of one.

That photo was taken in Florida.

Sorry. It was the "concourse de' elegans" on the sign that threw me off. I thought it was England or maybe France. :rolleyes:
