cchapman195 Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I thought I had seen a how too on cutting and "z"ing a frame for a '32 3 window coupe but I cannot find it now. If any body has a tutorial or link that I may use as a guide it would be much appreciated. I need to know what measurements, dimensions, Size of styrene I need etc, etc, etc... Any help would be great and I thank you for any pointers.
JasonFL Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I used this tutorial for my 32 5 window and it worked out great, you can always add your little touches here and there. I'm sure if you search on here there are plenty of examples of Z'ing. good luck http://cs.scaleautomag.com/SCACS/forums/t/94528.aspx
cchapman195 Posted June 2, 2012 Author Posted June 2, 2012 Thank you Jason. This is exactly what I was looking for. simple, sweet, and cheap. I did not realize it was that easy. Now to go get a kit to cut up.
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Glad someone over here was able to use my info as well.
cchapman195 Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Thanks Bill. Very well done tutorial. I have got the kit just have not started it yet. Can't wait to try it out.
JasonFL Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Bill, I didn't even recognize the name without your avatar. Thanks for the great tutorial, it made lining everything up very simple and clean. You think you could post a photo of what it looks like now?
