Is there a modeler in the twin cities willing to get together and show a fellow modeler how to add details? I am a hands on type of learner who likes to see how somethings done before I attack it. P.M me if your willing. A small payment to you for your knowledge could be arranged.

You should try and see if there are any local car model clubs or IPMS chapters in your area you can join. You'll be able to meet a great bunch of people, and learn a lot. And they'll be more than willing to teach you all kinds of building tips for free.

I have no problem teaching, I just dont know when I would have time, 50+ hours a week of work, then I spend most weekends taking care of 2.5 acres and a couple of gardens, plus household work to do. You can pm me your email and phone, and if I have a chance to breathe, I'll get in touch.

Contact the MCCM Club, or the RPM club in Mpls. Scale Model Supply is St.Paul should be able to get you the club contact info.

Take a drive for about two hours and talk to Junior in Fargo ND. He's very good at detailing and I know would be very glad to show you some tricks. You'd have to buy steak and drinks at Lonestar but that shouldn't cost over a "C" note. Really is good at that type of thing with models.
