Hey, thanks for posting that. I've never had one of these kits, but I surely have some of the parts from one, and thanks to seeing the pix on ebay, now I know what they are !!

IMHO it's worth the money. The Bantam coupe body, tube frame, front axle, headers, diff and fuel-injection manifold would make the basis for a nice model.

To be fair, looking closely at the parts in the box there is enough there to build the coupe bodied small block Chevy version, frame, front axle, wheels (front and rear), tires, engine halves , heads, valve covers, headers. Looks like all some one wanted was the HEMI engine and streamlined body. "Sell high" ? bet it goes for more than $100.

I guess I'm missing something. I don't see a problem with the listing or the point of this thread.

It would be one thing if the Seller indicated it might be a complete kit, but entirely another as listed. This guy has not had any eBay activity since 2007 until his current 3 listings. He's even offering a good shipping rate. Obviously, he's not a regular model and parts Seller trying to mislead someone.

Hopefully, this thread might bring the item to the attention of someone with a need for it - it will certainly increase his views.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Harry.... i've got a new idea for your weekly brain-teaser..... have someone do this with a (fairly simple) kit every third week, taking out a few parts and the test is for someone to ID the kit, possible issue date/era, and the missing parts! that keeps the "real or model" and "auto ID" in a longer rotation, too.

i think they do a similar game with random parts from old kits on a board at some shows.... ID as many parts to the kits they came from as possible.
