Billy Kingsley Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 With special thanks to Ray Buck, here it is. My very first ever attempt at wiring an engine! I printed out one of the diograms Ray sent me and went to work. I used a Parts by Parks PreWired distributer and a tiny drill I found in my parts box, I think made by Exacto or Testors. The engine in my Revell-Monogram 57 Nomad became my test car, and it turned out really nicely I think. It's not done in these pictures, but it should be completion #202 tomorrow. I didn't know where to put the coil, or what to do with the left over cord, so I improvised. The fact that it's a custom let me do that with no worrys. Here's a bonus shot of the Nomad, taken before Clearcoat
MrObsessive Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 That looks great Billy!8) Your Nomad ain't too shabby either! I better get going with these projects lest I need to "Pass the Torch" soon!
Billy Kingsley Posted June 14, 2006 Author Posted June 14, 2006 Thanks guys! Jairus, no they are not, they are just bent. When I post the completed one in a few days you will see it better...Things are flexible and I didn't notice that until it was posted already.
SlipMahoney Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Billy, the wiring looks good and so does the engine. That Nomad is going to be a sharp looking build.
