  1. "if it aint in the box it doesn't go on the car." Sounds like words to live by to me. Or should I say words to build by. Either way, I've got to agree with them.
  2. That V-dub is outta sight!! Great work on that engine Dirk.
  3. Outstanding work on the restoration Bill. It looks like a new car.
  4. Doug, like your signature says, you really know how to "think outside the box". Really nice work.
  5. Zed, your pictures are worth more than 1000 words. Outstanding work on the coupe.
  6. Bill and Tom have the right idea, go with the steels.
  7. Nice work on Nellybelle, Dan. I used to watch the Roy Rogers show all the time when I was a kid. Pat Brady ran that tempermental jeep all over the place.
  8. Marhall, you did a great job on that Mopar. The color is just plumb right for it.
  9. Really sharp Bill, I love the green. I have to ask, did it sit that low back in the 60s?
  10. You can reserve your 1/12 scale die cast at the website below. They're only asking for a deposit of $1000.00. http://www.legacydiecast.com/xq/asp/id.C006A/qx/review.htm
  11. It's looking good Ajay. I'd never buy one of these in 1:1, but you've done a great job with the kit.
  12. Second row, first and third from the left. That was a nice kit, wish they still made it. These were all built back in the 60s. None have survived.
  13. I think this is going to be so far beyond "outside the box" nobody will ever know there was a box to start with. Dave, that is an amazing concept and work.
  14. Unbelievable details Laurel. That car is going to ROCK.
  15. That's a sweet looking Chevy you got there Walt. Really nice.
  16. Being a new guy here too, I think this has to be one of the top two boards I'm familiar with. It seems the one Jairus mentioned doesn't ring a bell, so maybe I'm fortunate not to recognize it. Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of the MCM forum and want to welcome Matt as well. There's a real homey feeling here.
  17. With friends like that... oh man, to have friends like that would be amazing.
  18. Nice looking Mustang Steve. Have to agree with you on the interior, it looks sharp. I need to pick one of these up to do an '05 GT to match the car a friend of my son is driving.
  19. Good lookin' Nomad Billy. I like the color and your engine is looks pretty sharp too.
  20. I don't see any problem with how the decals came out Billy, it looks good from here.
  21. Steve, she sure is a long, low cruiser, you've got it just the way it should be.
  22. There are some sweet looking rides in this thread. These aren't as good as most I've seen, but here's my contribution. A Bucket T die cast kit. And the good old Deuce Coupe.
  23. Mark, Glotzbach's Daytona makes an excellent addition to a good looking collection. Have you got plans for any others to join the group?
  24. I guess frustration stops me once in a while. I was building an M551 Sheridan for a friend of mine who drove one in Vietnam and just quit on it for a while because I'd been working on it off and on for five months. I started a couple cars to see if that would help. Well, it did and the tank is done, but now I've got to go back to work on the cars.
