jeffaary Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Chuck is providing us with some great high quality decals of drag cars with art previously not available. We should have a thread showcasing models built using his decals. I'll start: Don Prudhomme Snake III Cuda The body is an old Good Stuff resin casting complete with fender bumps and spoiler extensions. It hasn't been available for many years, but Competition Resins recently started making a Cuda with fender bumps if you don't want to add bumps to your SMBC or Speed City body. I mounted this to a 1320 Inc diecast chassis/tin. Don Prudhomme Pepsi Challenger Omni Box stock build of the MPC Nitro Charger with extra rear spoiler pieces added. Many more to come... Dragracer Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Both cars look great Jeff, I remember seeing pics of Don's "Black" 'Cuda from the Last Drag Race.
W-409 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Yep, very beautiful builds, both of them. Decals look very good and high quality also.
gtx6970 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Where can you buy these decals? ditto, is there a list I can look thru ?

AZ Boy Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Very cool, Jeff. I especially like the Pepsi Challenger.
Magic Photos Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Chuck does a lot of great decals. Great detail and high quality work.
Dragline Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Here is my Yellow Feather build. I also have the Mongoose car tins painted and polished. I'll post them later. Bob
stangforever1 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Thanks Jeff and everyone else. I really appreciate all your compliments. Here is where I can be reached at- stang1forever@yahoo.com Thanks Chuck
Dragline Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 For those building the Snake & Mongoose Carefree dragsters, I just made the unfortunate discovery that the original box artwork for both is wrong. The Monogram boxes show the names leaning forward, but they should be leaning backward. Guess I'll throw it away then..... Bob
jeffaary Posted August 17, 2012 Author Posted August 17, 2012 Just finished the Carefree dragsters. Box stock builds of the original models, but with Chuck's decals. Don Prudhomme Carefree Dragster Tom McEwen Carefree Dragster
jeffaary Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 I just finished the Hot Wheels rear engine dragsters: Don Prudhomme Hot Wheels Rear Engine Dragster Box stock build of the recent Mongoose Navy re-release, but with Chuck's decals and wire wheels from the parts box: Tom McEwen Hot Wheels Rear Engine Dragster Box stock build of the recent Mongoose Navy re-release, but with Chuck's decals and wire wheels from the parts box: [
