is there much differenc betweeen chrome and silver paints?

a couple of small parts call for chrome paint, i don't have any - should i just do them in silver?? or is there a big enough difference when dry??

I like the little bottle of Testors Chrome Silver for touching up the kit chrome. Doesn't someone also make a pen that is chrome silver ?
