Dominik Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 (edited) great work so far justin!! ill be watching this one... x2! interesting paintjob on the weathering. i think, i will try this the same way for experiment. What kind of sandingpaper did you use? Thanks for sharing Justin! Edited July 17, 2012 by Dominik
502 Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 Got the suspension almost done. As you can see I just put blocks in the back and I started making a spindle for the front. I still need to tweak the front suspension cause its sitting a little too far forwards. Dominik I would tell you what sandpaper I use but I dont have the package for it so I dont know.
Jantrix Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 If I can make a recommendation? The weathered paint sort of looks rough like it has been sanded. If you wipe it down with a little 60-70% rubbing alcohol it will feather out some of those rough edges and make it look less rough and more like wear over time.
stray kat kustoms Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Love it man! It is looking really good so far. I agree with Jantrix, taking a little rubbing alchohol to the body will deffinatly help feather out the rough edges a bit and make it look even better............"Kook"
