gtx6970 Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 With the talk about the engine color. I decide to snap off a few pictures of this old build. Originally bought as an unbuilt IMC Touchtone terror I built it as the Little Red Wagon . Long before the Lindeberg re-issue. Built all box stock but using Fred Cady decals. This was built back in the mid-late 90's time frame. My cat knocked it off the shelf a few years ago, breaking the door hinges. So I pulled it down earlier this spring and repaired it. I now make sure to keep the display shelf doors closed when I'm not in the room . Taken along side my 'what if' build , Again both built the same time frame. Hope you all like it.
gtx6970 Posted July 28, 2012 Author Posted July 28, 2012 Here's the Deora One of 2 builds I actually got magazine ink on back in the day
1972coronet Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 gtx6970 - Was it you who also built the " Little Red Deora " ? Excellent work on these two , by the way !
High octane Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Go easy on your cat as he liked your builds also.
TooOld Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Your Little Red Wagon is really nice , and so is the Deora ! The extra detailing really paid off !
dimebolt Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Love both of them. But I especially like the Deora. Awesome builds. Corey

Yes, I built a long time ago, ( I think at the earliest late 80's to latest the early 90's time frame) I got married in 1993 and I can't remember if this car was built before or after I married my wife. One of only 2 cars that I ever got magazine ink on. I received awards at every model show I took it to back then,,, with all the advancements in the hobby, now it wouldn't even get a second look
Yahshu Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 These are cool, I love the deora, it's hard to believe that started out as an A100.
John Teresi Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Bill......that is a pretty wild Deora......I built mine about 4 years ago...... inspired by a painting I saw.
