Pontiac guys, vintage car question

I'm in no way familair with early Pontiacs .And I want to do this one.

So I have to ask,

is this a 1961 Catalina or 1961 Bonneville ?

If it's a Catalina was there ever a 1/25th scale version back it the day ?, as all I can find are 1961 Bonneville kits

That would be a 61 Catalina. As far as I know there weren't any 1/25 kit versions of the Catalina produced. If you're interested in redoing a diecast, there is a 1/18 scale 61 catalina out there. If you're interested in working with a resin body MCW produces a ' 61 Catalina bubbletop in resin.

Thanks, Thats what I was afraid of .all I could find was 1961 Bonneville kits

Sorry 1/18th scale is a no go for me. I prefer to keep everything at 1/25th scale if at all possibile

Yep, that's a Cat. You can tell by the tailights. Cats had one oval shaped light per side. Bonney's had THREE circular shaped ones in a long oval shaped bezel. Hth.

Oh, an MCW makes some GREAT resin bodies! I've gotten quite a few of them myself, and I'm ALWAYS pleased wit their quality!
