I'm trying to finish up my rollback and want to know the best way to replicate high polished aluminum. Is there a paint (other than Alclad or Spaztix), or should I just use BMF?

This isn't a tip, trick or technique... it's a question. Please post in the correct section. I'm really getting tired of moving posts to where they were supposed to be posted...

Sorry Harry. I figured it would be best in the tips, tricks and techniques section because once I got an answer it would technically be an idea that others could use. LOL

You can do the same as Dave says with spray cans. I like Metalizer aluminum which comes in sprays. There are many clears in spray cans that will get the polished look for you.

I'll have to look into them.

BMF makes an matte aluminum foil.

I was thinkin about that.

James, l've gotten pretty good results with Krylon brilliant silver, then dry buffing with good old Fruit of the looms! the cloths texture is smooth enough to not scratch, but rough enough to polish out nicely. Krylon is also fairly cheap & that big can goes a long way! Bart.
