Platerpants Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Ok so i did this the day my school had a tragic event not on porpose but just because i had a cop car that i though was already close to my hometowns current cop cars scheme. I blacked out the wheels because huge chrome wheels seemed to flashy for cops. added a gold stripe and police logo and heres what came out. oh yah and the picture of the car was taken on top of my 1992 buick riviera(just a useless note)
cobraman Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Almost looks like a cop car from the old " Highway Patrol " TV show.
Platerpants Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 Almost looks like a cop car from the old " Highway Patrol " TV show. never heard of the show
george 53 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Late 50's early 60's Cops an Robbers show. Brodrick Crawford was the star. He's gone now too. Funny, I thought of "Highway Patrol" right away too! Nice model, it brings back some nice memories!
cobraman Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 You can watch full episodes on youtube if interested. Kind of corny by today standards but not bad.
Badluck 13 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Almost looks like a cop car from the old " Highway Patrol " TV show. It sure could be made into one easy......twenty-one-fifty bye........

AzTom Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Nice conversion Jake. The CHP car was done in 1/26 scale. Hosted on Fotki Mira made a black & white 1/18 several years ago but I don't remember if it was an actual CHP car.
