caapa Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 (edited) The final version of the XP 755 Shark was renamed Mako Shark I after the introducing the Mako Shark which was named II. The car has been fitted with several engines including a turbo charged 427 for the 1962 New York Auto Show. The dashboard was redesigned and the glass double bubble top was no more used. The model was built from AMT Snap Fast kit OOB, only repainted out- and inside. Edited May 24, 2013 by caapa
modelmike Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Iam left hanging "What no under the hood?" great job
peekay Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Very nice! I got the painted and assembled "promo" version of this, added BMF and, apart from swirls in the met. blue plastic, it makes a nice model.
robertw Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 This is an often unappreciated kit simply because it was a curbside but as you discovered it is very nicely detailed and quite accurate. Good job on making improvements to make it even better. robw
