Shardik Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 I can usually squeeze in a couple of hours a week after work, but my weekends belong to my daughter; Best hiking partner in the world!
dimebolt Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Between work, wife and kids(4 of them), school just starting, everyday chores around the house, and working on my Dart, time has been few and far between. But I still manage to get a little done here and there. Falls pretty much here though, and things usually slow down bout this time every year, so I'll be getting more time for my interests with work slowing down. Usually 10 to 15 hours a week if I'm lucky. Corey
Greg Pugh Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Never enough! LOL C'mon.......how much time? I know I'm curious.
Aaronw Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Not much lately, I run a fire engine for the US Forest Service so my summers get pretty busy. Since mid July I've been working 70-100 hours a week, which doesn't leave much time for getting to the bench. A good chunk of the summer I don't even get to spend much time in my own bed (usually a tent in some cow pasture or fairgrounds). October-November through April I work 4 10 hour days which gives me 3 day weekends, and since fires are few and far between that time of year I actually get my weekends. If I'm in the mood I might get 10-15+ hours a week during the off season.
