realgone58 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Here's a few of my vintage travel trailers. All 1/87 scale. Green striped one is a 1955 Nashua kit by City Classics, then I took another City Classics kit and weathered it. The pink one is a '59 Pacemaker bi-level (yes, they actually made these), an older kit by Bachman/Plasticville.
disabled modeler Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Those are COOL.... wish they made them in 1/25th scale.
Harry P. Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 1/87? That's HO, right? Very small. I agree, how cool would it be to see kits like this in 1/25 scale!
realgone58 Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Yes, HO scale (1/87). I too would love to see some old trailer kits in 1/25. These little guys will become part of my 1/87 scale vintage trailer park one of these days. I've got some others to build too. Someone put a vintage hand built 1/25 scale '58 Kozy coach on ebay, looks to be made out of sheet styrene, awesome job, full detail inside and everything, but it's quite expensive.
Mercman Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I have the top one from City Classics, and have seen the bottom one. Nice to build.
RodneyBad Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Great looking Models even tho they are really Tiny.
