crazyjim Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Thanks Johann. I'm not that serious, I just don't know how to weather and make rust. Actually, I don't really care to. I think this is my 2nd build with seatbelts. Still learning the process.
Bartster Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Wow, Jim! l have GOT to get a bigger screen! All the details l can see are fantastic! Once again, above & beyond on the interior. l really like this shade of green. People are saying green is the new red-you put an exclamation point on that!!!! The flatty looks like it could start & run. Very realistic details. l want a couple of those dizzys. l'm gonna build a 1:25 flathead soon! l'm all outa adjectives! Bart.
crazyjim Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Hey Bart. Thank you my friend. Green was kind of the next color in line. I don't like doing the same color over and over. I keep trying to increase my detailing abilities with each build. Fatkidd has been making & selling his distributors to a LHS. I don't know how much he sells them for. I thought his 1st one was cool - the 2nd generation is great!! Remind me to send you a PM. Marcia wants me to make dinner now.
crazyjim Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 Thank you guys. The interior is Testors out of the bottle with some Ken's Fuzzy Fur.
W-Machine Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 A tri-carb flathead! Love the throttle linkages and general engine details. Great color. I concur wholeheartedly.
stulee11 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Dude thats one sweet ride... would you be able to upload a close up pic of that dizzy please. I am soon to be building one and am lost on what to do with the distributor lol.. Thanks stu
crazyjim Posted September 13, 2012 Author Posted September 13, 2012 Thank you, Stuart. Fatkidd showed me how to make his 2nd generation distributors and they are very nice. I did a tutorial here on making his 1st generation distributors. I'm reluctant to tell you all about it because Fatkidd is making and selling them. I think the best thing would be to send a PM to Fatkidd and ask him about the distributors.
