The AMT '67 Impala Street Machine has a "modernized" big block with multi-port fuel injection and modern valve covers. When Photobucket gets done with their maintenence, I'll send you photo of the setup.

The AMT 454 SS pickup kit engine is not really a modern big block IIRC. I think they modified the standard small block to look like a big block. Anyone else remember that?

The above mentioned 67 impala is a good option. Ross Gibson engines has a modern FI bigblock. I think VCG resins sells a BB Chevy (572 CI) as well.

Ok, modern as in modern fuel injected big block. Already robbed few Vettes of LS1's.

I'll look out for an Impala & a pic would help get the right kit. Check out VCG too

I've got many 57 Chevy's in various states of build & looking for different engines for them.

Here's a photo of the fuel injection setup for you Steve. The valve covers on this do not come in the '67 Impala kit.

Hi guys didn't the Revell 55 chevy sportsman have a modern big block?

No. It has the "Oldsmobile" DRCE engine. It's based on the 366/427 Tall Deck truck engine, Mark IV style block.
