Oh geez. That sounds like bad news for us F1 fans. What are the odds NBC shows the races live? or qualifying and practice at all?

If it's the NBC Sports Network on cable, probably a good chance. But hopefully they'll replay F1 races from Asia at a better time than just live at 1:30 a.m., such as tonight's Korean Grand Prix - Speed replay will be at 2:30 pm Eastern on Sunday.

I can't stand not watching them live. I always set my alarm and suck it up and watch live. I couldn't sleep knowing that F1 is happening!

:P Set the coffeepot for tonight's 1:30 am broadcast. I'm setting my recorder.

PS: If you didn't see Speed's coverage of the 2012 Monterey Reunion this morning, featuring races between prewar, postwar and somewhat more recent race car legends, plus a lot of Shelby Cobra coverage, it's worth a view at tonight's repeat at 8 pm Eastern.

Deron I know that you live in Central PA, but I live in southwestern PA, about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. I subscribe to a cable service called Armstrong and I get both Speed and Velocity with their HD service. If Armstrong is available in your area you may want to look into that re getting Velocity.

Richard, I will do that and would love to be able to get Velocity because they carry a lot of the Star Mazda races that my friend Sage Karam from Nazareth, PA actually races in for Andretti Autosport. They carry a lot of Motorsports on Velocity. Id imagine that F1 will be on the NBC Sports Network which I doubt will be showing many races live like the SPEED Channel does.
