Mr. Can Am Garage Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 While waiting for the modified stripe package for the Impala 9C1, I had to start another project. Revell's '37 Ford pickup after a day of work.
Phil Patterson Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 I love old work trucks, looking forward to seeing you finish your 37! Also, here's a link to a model inspired by those same lyrics, and the owner of the album has got quite a few other pics there as well. http://public.fotki.com/mjcole/hobby_heave...testentry2.html
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted August 10, 2007 Author Posted August 10, 2007 A little progress was made today to the point that I think the chassis is ready for paint.
James W Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Can I get those guys to come to my hobby room? They do good work!
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 The chassis is finished. The engine has been painted and is drying. Seeing as it was painted with enamel, it'll be a few days before it'll be dry enough to handle.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted August 13, 2007 Author Posted August 13, 2007 Engine has been painted in what I hope and pray is close to the factory correct shade of Ford engine green.
Fisher61 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Looks great, I like the gray, black and red wheels, all goes great together. Looking forward to seeing this one done!
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted August 14, 2007 Author Posted August 14, 2007 Can I get those guys to come to my hobby room? They do good work! Work comes to them. They don't go to work.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 Norbert a.k.a. Norbie, The Can Am Garage's always helpful outside consultant calmly told Jack that those black fenders just didn't come from Ford like that and that he ought to fix that. There was lots of hemming and hawing but he did it. Then he finds out the fenders don't match the rest of the truck which, as it turns out, it quite possible according to Norbie.
