A little progress was made today to the point that I think the chassis is ready for paint.

The chassis is finished. The engine has been painted and is drying. Seeing as it was painted with enamel, it'll be a few days before it'll be dry enough to handle.

Engine has been painted in what I hope and pray is close to the factory correct shade of Ford engine green.

Norbert a.k.a. Norbie, The Can Am Garage's always helpful outside consultant calmly told Jack that those black fenders just didn't come from Ford like that and that he ought to fix that.

There was lots of hemming and hawing but he did it.

Then he finds out the fenders don't match the rest of the truck which, as it turns out, it quite possible according to Norbie.
