hooterville75 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Question in regards to this kit. With the color of the styrene being Black and a lot of the parts including chassis and body calling for Black paint, would it really pay for me to waist the black paint to paint whats already Black ? Or after I primer it will the Black be a totally different Black then it already is naturally ? Thanks in advance for any advice.
martinfan5 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 You really should paint the black , as for the chassis, it needs to be red, I believe 91 was the year RYR started painting their chassis red
hooterville75 Posted September 19, 2012 Author Posted September 19, 2012 Will definitely have to double check with the instructions for sure.

Dont bother, alot of the time, kit instruction are wrong, the chassis is red, here are some pics, and you can see that in fact it is red Edited September 19, 2012 by martinfan5
bbowser Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 One thing I learned early on when I got back in the hobby, you need to paint everything. Each and every part that shows. It's a pain at first but you'll really notice the difference. Bare plastic, no matter the color, stands out like a sore thumb against painted parts.
