mnwildpunk Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Come on guys get your minds out of the gutter. I did a search on this topic and found nothing. This is a tip to get a few extra miles out of your stripper. I hated the fact after using my strippers a couple of times it was hard to tell the parts from flakes of paint/chrome that was suspended in the media. Supplies 1. Empty milk jug or something similar to drain into. 2. A funnel (I used a 2 liter bottle with the bottom cut off.) 3. Coffee filters. 4. Time First off I put the funnel in the milk jug then a filter in the funnel. I then poured the stripper from it's holding container into the coffee filter/funnel until it was 3/4 full then let it strain. After awhile the filter will get plugged. So carefully pick-up the filter just high enough to place a new filter underneath then pour the remainingliquid from the old filter into the new. Repeat as necessary.
Ramfins59 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Great tip Dave. I'll remember that when it comes time to "strain my stripper".... Doesn't sound right does it...???
Longbox55 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 You can also use Scott's Blue shop towels as a substitute for coffee filters.
Fat Brian Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I thought you were going to make her do a clean and jerk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQAEu8FOCHY
mnwildpunk Posted September 21, 2012 Author Posted September 21, 2012 I know what you mean the whole time I was writing this post it just sounded so wrong.
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 If you happen yo have a significant other who still wears stockings or pantyhose, they work great as filter media too. Stripper, stockings....just goes together, doesn't it?
mnwildpunk Posted September 22, 2012 Author Posted September 22, 2012 Yes they do but I think my gal would look at me funny if I grabbed a pair of her panty hose. But thinking about it they probably work better.
