340-6
Hi again! This is my newest build, an e21 bimmer, built from a 1979 Revell kit. The kit itself is quite nice, apart from some minor fitting problems and those horrible USA model bumpers. I've never been a huge BMW fan, but some of these older ones look quite good. Especially the older 6-series e24:s are beautiful. And I think that this e21 with its Turbocharger, BBS rims, spoilers and Fender flares is an excellent icon of its own age. (That engine bay is WAY too clean, I probaply have to do something about it...) And heres my next Bimmer -project, which will be something completely different: Commets are welcome! krazyglu
I really love the older BMW's, I have quite a few freinds racing e30's and they are awesome little track cars. You did a great job on the e21, but the other one has me very interested.
340-6
Thanks steven! I'm not quite sure what I will do with the other e21, but it will surely be a challenge, 'cause there are a lot of parts missing.
W-409
Nice BMW! The paint, wheels, tires and the overall clean look are great. I like the clean engine bay, too. Maybe a stupid question, but what's the difference between these American bumbers, and "Normal" bumbers?
340-6
Thanks! American: "normal" european bumper:
W-409
Oh yes, now I see the difference, the American is "bit" more massive.... Actually it looks better in model than in that picture, you posted.
