relaxednoma Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 Ordered some stuff today to begin building my 4 links and such via RB Motion and DirtModeler. This way I have more than enough to get me going.
c-man405 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 what are the web sites to get those? they look great. cant wait to see it come together.
relaxednoma Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 These parts are from Dirt Modeler (http://www.mudfleas.com/Store/) and RBMotion (www.rbmotion.com) Thanks for the good words. got some black laid on the cab and hood over the weekend.
ll Brandon ll Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 RB Motion's parts are phenomenal, although they arent cheap. Worth the price if you have the money to spend tho.
relaxednoma Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 yeah, so very true. Mind is swarming regarding suspension on the cars and such. but for now, got a set of the pegasus sleeves and experimented a bit with the resin ralley's. Also got some color on the cab and hood. still need to polish it out, will do so after I spray the roof XXXXX color
relaxednoma Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 thanks! I'm liking the red, but i'm still leaning towards yellow lol
ll Brandon ll Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Thats some sexy stuff! As for the suspension stuff, you can build stuff that looks just as good and works just as well as parts like the RB Motion stuff. Im not trying knock his stuff, its awesome, but I built the coilovers I have on the camaro in around a half hour and out of maybe 50c worth of styrene and wire. And coming from someone whos had to assemble his parts, they are a BITCH to put together, just an FYI. Not for the faint of heart.
Edward Gore Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Boss color combos happening on this truck build Very nice
tooltas Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 go yellow and at some yellow flames on the body of the truck
relaxednoma Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 ohhhh, flames had not crossed my mind yet....I REALLY like that idea!!they'd have to very well laid out. I think I'm going to add that to the list!!! And yellow has been put into the forefront for sure now!
JasonFL Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 I'd have to agree, some flames would really look killer on this truck but I'm really liking that red you have on the rims for some reason. Can't wait to see more
elitebuilder739 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Can`t wait to see this finished scott.that bed looks familiar lol.hard to sand,my friend
